The Supreme Court's Decision and How it Should have Been

WARNING!!!!!  Do not read this post if you do not wish to be offended, or you do not know much about politics.  I guarantee, friends, family, and acquaintances alike, this post is not for that faint of heart.

Are you still reading?  okay, well take my warning into consideration.  I am writing this to share MY views, just like many of you already have.  I assure you that I respect all other views, and I do not judge my friendships based on political friendliness!  If you are my friend on facebook, I obviously like you... remember that!

Many people here do not understand government.  It is NOT in the supreme courts power to declare such things as was recently declared.  The US federal government was created to keep peace, and allow this country to live in freedom.  The STATES were created SPECIFICALLY to create their own laws.  The process was going quite smoothly.  Each state gets to choose specific laws pertaining to the people.  Here's a shocker to most of the people ignorant to the fact:  You also have a local government.  You have a county government.  You have city ordinances.  Imagine a triangle, where the tip is on the top.  the bottom is larger... why??  it has more laws!  At the top is the federal government.  The federal government should create the LEAST amount of laws.  Unfortunately, you all are allowing a greater power in the biggest branch of the government.  I warn all, this is not a good thing.  Everyone knows what happens when something gets top heavy.

Last of all, everyone who changes their pictures to those colorful ones.  Those are exactly the kind of people who, if lived in the days of slavery, would be owning slaves.  Those are the people who would be kicking out blacks from buses.  Those are the people who would be chastising gays.  Those are they who would be putting the Japanese in internment camps.  Why, you may ask?  Because those are the crowd followers.  They follow fads, they like whatever is popular.  They don't like to be looked at as weirdos, as reformers. They love people more than they love God. They are not people like Martin Luther, who was banished from everything because he was doing what he knew was right.  They are not like mother Theresa, who had to do many things in secret, just to succeed.  They are not like Martin Luther King Jr. who had to stand up against the crowds and be mocked in order to change things from wrong to right.

It is unfortunate to see, that the world has not changed. Mankind has not made any steps forward. We still discriminate against people who have unpopular views. It just so happens to be, that the popular view right now is to not discriminate against homosexual individuals. (I never needed a supreme court ruling for this... why did everyone else?)
